When our ‘friend of Dressability’ Osnic Embroidery had a sort out of their sample garments recently, they knew exactly where they would be made great use of and very kindly donated them to us.
As a charity, we are keen to work closely with other local community charities, so we asked our friends at the Rotary Club of Swindon if they could find a good home for the garments.
They have links with Christ Church in Old Town Swindon, who in turn, work with the Harbour Project to aid refugees and asylum seekers in Swindon. They were ‘blown away’ with the boxes of new coats delivered to them.
The Rotary Club of Swindon are also able to organise deliveries to the Ukraine to help those needing warm clothing whilst temperatures are freezing.
The Rotary Club of Swindon have offered to run a fundraising event to raise funds for Dressability for which we will be very grateful.
