Rather than disposing of end of line clothing, Fat Face the clothing company have very kindly donated 4 boxes of clothing to Dressability to adapt and make up as sample kits to take out and about, to launch the Lottery funded outreach programme and promote the services of Dressability.

For most of us getting dressed in clothing of our choice is something we take for granted. However, for somebody with a disability it can be a different story!

Dressability, a small charity delivering a specialist clothing adaptation service on behalf of people with disabilities, has a vacancy for a part-time fundraiser. The role will be 18 hours per week Weds to Fri 9am until 3pm.

The role will involve working with the senior fundraiser to maintain Dressability’s trust and foundation sponsorship programme whilst developing the charity’s local and community fundraising strategy.

Nelson’s Trust, is a charity that brings belief, hope and long-term recovery to people whose lives have been torn apart by addiction and the multiple and complex needs that come with it. 

We have been working closely The Nelson Trust’s Swindon Outreach Project team to provide fleece blankets, made by our team of dressmakers to homeless women who find themselves living on the streets or in poor conditions.
