Today we have Dressability’s second featured appearance in Kidz to Adultz’s May issue, this time shining a spotlight on an initiative from the wonderful Marla, a volunteer at Dressability.
Marla was a Special Education Needs Co-ordinator who came up with the idea of recycling school sweatshirts into bibs and cravats. For children who may require bibs, this allows them to better blend in, thanks to bibs and cravats matching the school uniform.
We think it’s a great way of reusing spare sweatshirts while helping out pupils at the same time. The idea has become so popular it’s now even spreading to other schools!
