I joined Dressability as a sewing volunteer in March 2021 and have since been lucky enough to be employed as a Sewing Coordinator. I have a degree in fashion and spent several years working as a garment technologist. The pandemic highlighted to me the importance of community and charity; I made the decision that I wanted to pursue a job that improved people’s lives and I have absolutely found that at Dressability.

GRANT & TRUST FUNDRAISER at Dressability, Swindon, SN5 7ER – Apply Now.

Dressability, a small charity delivering a specialist clothing adaptation service on behalf of people with disabilities, has a vacancy for a part-time senior fundraiser. The role will be 18 to 24 hours per week 9am until 3pm. (days to be agreed).

This a senior fundraiser position taking the lead with our trust and foundation sponsorship programme so experience in this field is essential.

We can offer a friendly and rewarding working environment, where you will be able to use your fundraising skills to contribute to our life changing work with people with disabilities.

If you have a minimum of 2 years grant & trust fundraising experience, with a proven track record, excellent communication skills and would like to apply then please submit your CV.

Please note that this is an office based role.

Salary: £10,296.00-£13.728.00 per year

Part-time hours: 18-24 per week

Meet our little friend Grace looking lovely in her sparkly birthday gown we made for her birthday a little while ago now.

As our sewing ‘wish-granters’ are now back in the work room and ready to go, we would like to reach out to anyone who has or knows a child with a disability, who would love a special outfit made, please get in touch.

We offer this at no cost to the child, the family or carer of the child, as this service is funded by our very kind donors of materials and funding.
